Ashley Tisdale Lands Cheer Leading Role In New 'Hellcats' Series

Ashley Tisdale has landed a role in forthcoming new CW series 'Hellcats'.
A pilot for the show is currently in development and the series will be executive produced by 'Smallville' star Tom Welling and Kevin Murphy.
According to various reports, the 'High School Musical' cutie has landed the part of character Sierra - the captain of college cheerleading team The Hellcats.
'Aliens In The Attic' actress Tisdale will feature alongside main character Marti - as played by Aly Michalka - who most recently starred opposite Vanessa Hudgens in 'Bandslam'.
