Cheryl Cole To Play "Major Part" In Alexandra Burke's Career

Alexandra Burke says mentor Cheryl Cole will assist in developing her singing career, after winning the X Factor last weekend.
"Cheryl will play a major part in my career. I am making sure she stays involved," Burke told The Sun. "I respect her opinions dearly. She was in this position six years ago and she can advise me well."
Alexandra also revealed the pair have become close friends: "She will have an official position as well as being my friend. We are always texting and calling. She texted me at 4am saying she couldn't sleep because she was hyper on Sunday. She said it was an exciting time for her."
Burke looks certain to land the Christmas number one single this month with her debut 'Hallelujah'.
