Gorillaz 'Working On New Opera'

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, AKA animated band Gorillaz, are writing a new opera.
The pair, who last wrote an opera together in 2007 ('Monkey: Journey To The West'), are teaming up with Alan Moore - the man behind 'V For Vendetta' and 'Watchmen'.
Comic book hero Moore says of this ambitious new collaborative project: "We're planning for me to do the libretto on their next opera project."
Gorillaz meanwhile, are working on their third album 'Plastic Beach', which is coming in 2010. The new record is the follow-up to 2005's 'Demon Days'.
