Kate Nash has blasted the Pussycat Dolls for being a bad influence on younger girls.
The 'Foundations' singer feels that the Nicole Scherzinger-led group are having a negative affect on females, as opposed to older girl groups like Destiny's Child.
Nash said: "Young kids should be taught about sex but they shouldn't be taught to be sexy. It's really distasteful. They're called Pussy. Cat. Dolls. You don't need to say anything else really.
"It's encouraging sexualisation and sexuality in young kids, and I think that's a bit weird." Nash continued to tell the Guardian.
"When I was young I was listening to the Spice Girls and Destiny's Child," said Kate, "I was singing 'Independent Woman' and 'Survivor', and it was all about Girl Power and being with your friends.
"I don't think I was singing, 'Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?'"
Nash releases her new album 'My Best Friend Is You' on April 19th, featuring the single 'Do Wah Doo' (watch the video).
