Nicole Scherzinger Explains Pussycat Dolls Situation

Nicole Scherzinger has spoken about the future of the Pussycat Dolls, after two girls quit the group recently.

It had been rumored for months that all was not well within the 'Don't Cha' girl group, then at the beginning of March, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts both announced that they had left the band.

When asked what the current situation of the Dolls is, lead singer Nicole said: "A couple of girls have left the group, because they wanted to go and do their own projects and stuff.

"It's up to them what they wanna do and I just think whatever makes them happy, that's their choice."

"It's not easy [being a Pussycat Doll], I love it - I'm grateful for it." Scherzinger continued to explain, "but I think that it's just time for people to kinda do their own thing and that's what the other girls want to do."

Nicole also said that she is still friends with some of her band mates. She added: "When they announced 'Dancing With The Stars', a couple of the girls emailed me and they were so supportive. It meant so much to me and they're gonna come to the show."

As for their recording future, the singer revealed: "The Dolls album may come out later this year, right now I'm doing some music that I'm really excited about and it's coming under my name."
